The Home of Australia's First Doctor and Surgeon
Campbellfield the home of Australia's First Doctor and Surgeon, Dr William Redfern. A home where historic persons congregated and made decisions that effected all Australians before Parliament was thought of.
People from James Ruse who grew the first large scale wheat crop of just on 1000 acres in Minto that saved the colony of Sydney from going back to England. Governor Macquarie whose wife the home was named after. Dr William Redfern who owned the land as well as treating Governor Macquarie and John Macarthur with his wool and sheep. Least of all Fred Fisher who was our first Industrialist in having a paper mill in Liverpool with remnants still standing but forgotten.
