The state of this soldiers grave and headstone is a National disgrace! This soldier died making this country Australia and Goulburn. The stone was vandalised by A.R.P. in 1905. The cost of having the stones made readable and duplicates made is in excess of $7000 and the offer was rejected in favor of brass plaques. This soldier deserves more than a brass plaque.
